Montmartre Hosting
This was a very early project for a job interview. I had three hours in which to come up with a single page design for a fake company called ‘Montmartre Hosting’. A logo was not provided, so I decided I should start there. A quick search of ‘Montmartre’ led me to a church in Paris with a particularly iconic window. I used this as the basis for the logo.
After researching various hosting companies, and the target audience, I settled on a structure. Colour-theory helped me pick a palette of greys and blues that highlighted the reliability of the hosting.
Once I had this finalised, I built a simple layout and flooded it with demo content. With the last hour I figured it might be a nice idea to have simple guide to which hosting plan would be best for the user. I had before been toying with using radio buttons to create advanced interactions, and used this to build the questionnaire. Finally I tidied it up, added some mobile optimisations and submitted it on the three hour window. I have embedded it below.
